A single print is an ancient technique.
The piece begins on a metal surface and thick oil.
The tools I create with are not delicate at all!
Which allows me to be free from the need for precision.
And from there..
the metal surface is rotated on the press together with a cotton sheet softened in water.

This process is reminiscent of the photography process in a darkroom and it is MAGICAL!
